So the team at Google is rolling out a new algorithm next month and it could really shake up how you search from your mobile device. Instead of using a search that goes to the best site, when you search, you’ll find the best site with the easiest way to get around. Think back to a time when you would search on your mobile device only to land on a page that required you to zoom way in on the screen just to be able to click on a tab that sometimes was virtually impossible to click if there was a drop down menu attached to it.
Mobile Usages now higher then desktop

Well, very soon those days will be coming to an end. With the new algorithm coming out from Google, when you search from a mobile device, you will only be directed to pages that are mobile compatible and allow for the easiest searching and surfing. Where reading content won’t require zooming and using the tip of your finger and very carefully selecting a tiny little tab to keep scanning.

Google is expecting to roll out the new Algorithm, so you’ve got a little bit of time to make sure your website is compatible with all of the mobile devices that might be headed your way.
But how can you test your website to make sure it’s ready for the change in algorithm? Well, lucky for you Google has created three easy to use processes to get an early head start on making sure that your website makes the cut for a great mobile website.
The first process is Google’s Mobile Friendly Test. By simply plugging in your website url and it will let you know if you’ve got a mobile-friendly page on your hands.

If the website you entered passes Google’s test, you will see a green banner indicating the website is mobile-friendly. If the website does not pass, Google will let you know the page is not mobile-friendly and give some reasons why. Some of the most common reasons include the page is to wide, the page is just to small, the links are to close together or simply you don’t have the mobile option selected in your website options.
Another option you have is the W3C mobileOK checker. Similar to the google site, you simply plug in the Url and it let’s you know if your site makes the cut for a mobile friendly site.
